Connect Ivy to your IDE

Open Ivy on your Mac — Hub chat works right away. IDE setup is optional.

   Open the Ivy app

   Download Ivy, drag it to Applications, and open it from there. Look for the ivy leaf in your menu bar.

   Sign in to Ivy Hub (optional)

   For your personal API key, trial, and Pro. In Ivy click Sign in to Ivy Hub, or open Hub in your browser.

   Connect your IDE (optional)

   Use Hub chat and voice without an editor. To route inside Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed, or Continue: Ivy app → Set up IDE (menu bar or Home). One click — no Terminal.

   Restart your editor

   Quit and reopen your editor, then choose ivy-auto in chat (Cursor, Windsurf) or pick Ivy in Continue.

In Cursor: Settings (⌘,) → Models → OpenAI section — enable API Key + Override Base URL (not Anthropic or Azure).
